Everyone is going ape-sh*t over lead!
The Chinese, according to the media, are pumping it into EVERYTHING they're manufacturing and selling to us: baby toys and paint are the items that are receiving the most attenion these days! All you parents out there need to do is to teach your children not to lick their toys and to wash their hands AFTER they are done playing with the toys, and EVERYTHING would be fine! The lead content wouldn't be a concern for you or your kid at all, but the media don't want you to be a responsible parent who teaches his/her kid to wash his/her hands. We must ALL be dirty (equal) in the eyes of the media.
NOW the latest mole to pop its head out of the machine is lipstick! The wife explained this morning that she has known for YEARS that lipstick contained lead and that she knew how to detect the lead in the lipstick as well. Well, that meant castigating her for FAILING to tell me early enough so that we could put a video on YouTube to show everyone else, here the Western World at least, how one goes about this.
You can find it on YouTube if you search on lipstick and lead. There will be dozens more videos by now anyway! The wife showed me first-hand how to do this as well, confirming what the video illustrated. The good news is that it took longer for her lipstick to turn darker than it did for the lip poison the person in the video used to turn darker in a similar manner. *laughter*
So, if one of the companies for which you own stock is known to sell lead, SELL IT!!! Get out of there! *laughter*
